Aon's Lori Goltermann named APIW Woman of the Year

The Association of Professional Insurance Women has named Lori Goltermann its Woman of the Year, the association released in a statement Tuesday.

Chicago-based Ms. Goltermann is chief executive officer of Aon’s U.S. Commercial Risk Solutions and Health Solutions businesses and has been with the company since 1993. She is an active member of the brokerage’s Global Operating committee as the diversity and inclusion chair, and leads Aon’s firm-wide growth strategy committee, Delivering Aon United.

In her CEO role, she is known for assembling high-performing teams, strategy development and mergers and acquisitions, said the association.

Outside of work, Ms. Goltermann has served on several Chicago boards, including the boards of the Lincoln Park Zoo, The Special Olympics, The Latin School of Chicago’s Enterprise Risk, the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers and The Chicago Network. In 2016, she was named a Business Insurance Woman to Watch.

An award ceremony and reception for Ms. Goltermann will be held in fall 2020.
